What this platform is

The Waukesha Resource Navigator helps people in Waukesha County find community resources like food, shelter, health care, jobs, and support services. It is a directory and navigation tool -- not a service provider.

What we are NOT

• Not a government agency. We are not affiliated with Waukesha County government, the State of Wisconsin, or any federal agency.
• Not a health care provider. Nothing on this platform is medical advice. Talk to a doctor for health questions.
• Not a legal service. Nothing on this platform is legal advice. Talk to a lawyer for legal questions.
• Not a crisis service. If you are in danger, call 911. For mental health support, call or text 988. For general help, call 211.

Information may change

We do our best to keep listings accurate and up to date. Hours, eligibility, and availability can change without notice. Always call or visit a provider's website to confirm details before making a trip. We are not responsible if information turns out to be outdated or incorrect.

AI chat

The AI navigator is a tool that helps you search the resource directory using plain language. It pulls from verified listings but may occasionally make mistakes. The AI does not give medical, legal, or clinical advice. Treat its responses as a starting point, not a final answer. Verify important details directly with the provider.

Crisis situations

Accounts

You do not need an account to browse the directory or use the AI chat. Creating an account lets you save resources, track your plan, and use the community board.

• Accounts use a phone number and 6-digit PIN. One account per phone number.
• You are responsible for keeping your PIN private. Do not share it.
• You can delete your account and all your data at any time from Settings.

Community board rules

The mutual aid board lets people post what they need or what they can offer. By posting, you agree to these rules:

• No personal information. Do not post phone numbers, addresses, full names, or other details that could identify someone.
• No accusations. Do not name or accuse specific people, providers, or organizations of wrongdoing.
• No illegal activity. Do not post anything that promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
• Be respectful. Harassment, threats, or hate speech will result in your post being removed and possibly your account being suspended.
• Posts are moderated. We may remove any post that violates these rules without notice.

Limitation of liability

The Waukesha Resource Navigator is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Steel Man Resumes and The Midnight Garden LLC are not liable for any damages that result from using this platform, including but not limited to reliance on outdated resource information, interactions with listed providers, or community board posts. Our total liability to you for any claim related to this platform is limited to zero dollars, as this is a free service.

No endorsement

Listing a resource or organization on this platform is not an endorsement. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or effectiveness of any listed service. Use your own judgment when choosing a provider.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will post a notice on the platform. Continuing to use the navigator after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
